******Further speculation, but perhaps when enmity is switch and (if it is) reset for others that the new target gains the initial enmity boost one receives from carrying out the first action. Which is why enmity doesn't just shift on melee actions right away, but if none are carried out it will start shifting. This would neatly wrap it all up, but of course I can't prove it.

The hate mechanic is very interesting on these fomor NMs.

  • Enmity still seems to build and decay in some fashion as it normally would.
    • However it isn't so simple as an action rips away all hate. Gessho using Yonin and then me disengaging allowed me to cure the NM over and over again without pulling hate.
      • Waiting long enough and then curing it will then pull hate.
        • Going to speculate that enmity is reset on others when pulled.
          • It is not that easy to see when alone testing with my trust, but I can see that melee hits between actions can sometimes pull hate, but generally doesn't.
            • Further speculation, but perhaps when enmity is switched on action and (if it is) reset for others that the new target gains the initial enmity boost one receives from carrying out the first action. Which is why enmity doesn't just shift on melee actions right away, but if none are carried out it will start shifting. This would neatly wrap it all up, but of course I can't prove it.
              • After spending hours with this though maybe my mind is just descending into madness.

Otherwise, verified the information the main page and this NM's info is golden. --Spicyryan (talk) 20:39, 28 April 2024 (UTC)
